KNOTS is committed to responsible craftsmanship. Every piece begins in our design studio in Sydney, Australia. Our manufacturing is entrusted to experienced swimwear makers in the P.R.C. Each piece is constructed from carefully sourced materials and trims and hand inspected to ensure the utmost quality is delivered.

The Classic Swim Short is made from a non-stretch 100% Polyester with a zip back pocket, available in bespoke prints and solid colours. The Sport Swim Short is made from a lighter weight stretch 100% Recycled Polyester with a button closure back pocket, available only in solid colours with a matching colour dyed drawstring.

Both designs have a soft internal mesh lining and are cut to our signature mid-length fit for a tailored shape.

KNOTS swim shorts are designed to age gracefully as they wear the memories of sun-soaked days well spent. To preserve their longevity: rinse well after use and avoid rough surfaces. Our swim shorts should be machine washed and laid flat to dry, avoid tumble drying and harsh detergents. They can be ironed on low heat.

We are proud to offer a 1-year warranty on our swim shorts, covering manufacturing faults under normal wear.

We use Australia Post and Australia Post Express Post services depending on your selected shipping method.

Currently, we do not ship outside of Australia, but we are working on expanding our capacity for international customers.

To be eligible for a return, your swimwear must be in original condition with tags still in place. To start a return please contact returns@knotsstudios.com with your order confirmation number and the reason for your return, we will be happy to assist.

Yes, returns are completely free. We provide a prepaid return shipping label with your item. If your item is returned to us in original condition, we are happy to provide an exchange or full refund as per our returns policy.
